Artist's Comments

I have nothing against those who do like to be correct with their English. This is against those who 'flame' others becuase their speech isn't perfect. Get a grip--noone is perfect, not even work artists do. There can be 100 editors on one book, yet when it's out in print, a consumer can spot one or three mistakes. I know I have.

:salute: I salute those hard working writers who try their hardest to put their soul's thoughts on paper.

Who ever copyrighted the term "Grammar Nazi" (C) whomever copyrighted it. ( If it's copyrighted)

True, but.... itz wen i tlk lke ths tht i ned 2 b sh0t (no idea how I managed to write that).

Or Microsoft word. It shall correct most of your spelling errors (most people have it) there are other programs too. And online dictionaries.

It is important that people put that little bit of extra effort into what they write and strive to be all they can be.

Attempt to imporve. Actually do it. Show some pride in yor work etc.

Getting a 'bit' preachy. You know what I am saying.

As always writers. Keep writing and learning!

I know dictionaries help, but they don't always help when you don't know how see mistakes in sentences. Run ons don't help when you have a great idea going and are using lots of commas.

Yeah, personally I want to learn a lot more about the grammar / sentance stucture side of things.

The Writing Revolution Begins Here

So, here's the deal. You critique my work and I'll critique yours. If you critique me well, I'll critique a lot of yours. That way, everybody's happy.

Yes, but when your a Grammar Nazi you CAN write whats in your soul, and its actually easy for people to read! xD

And I'm a Grammar Nazi, but I don't flame others who spell bad. I know many a dA user who chose to spell a certain way. And it doesn't concern me, I just like to make it known that I love grammar and spelling more than tlkng lyd dis. xD

XD Cool. Did you know that grammar is so subjective and discrimatory? The 'Grammar Nazi's I speak of seem to be know-it-all's but, from my Eng 282, that grammar used to include the word "aint" as acceptable before the 1700's, then afterwords it wasn't proper.

"You'all" is proper to those in the South--why should the North in America stick up their noses?

If you are proud to be a Grammar Nazi who's obssessed with grammar and respects others, good for you. This was for the proud, self-imposing ones, that think a good story must be all in order---if that's true why have rules at all? If one does break a rule, who is going to know if that was a mistake or intentional?

Besides, I love my lingustic-Eng 282 class. Everyone knows how to SPEAK proper English, the writing is the part that gets confusing.

Thanks for stopping by this club.
